The following is the selection criteria at Goa University:-
- The candidate should have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with minimum 40% in the final year.
- Along with that, the candidate need to qualify the entrance exam GU-ART. This entrance exam is conducted by the university itself.
Students will be provided admission based on the seats availabe and GU-ART rank of the student. You can apply for MA from the official website of the university.

BITS Goa offers a decent placements for its ME course. According to the media reports, the average and median package offered during BITS Pilani placements in 2024 stood at INR 20.36 LPA and INR 17 LPA, respectively. Getting into BITS Goa depends on candidates performance in the BBITS (Birla Institute of Technical Science) and other accepting exams. However, candidates must make sure to complete the entire admission procedure of BITS Pilani ME course. Candidates must make sure to meet the eligibility criteria for applying to the entrance exams.

BITS Pilani Goa ME cousre fee range from INR 9.3 Lacs to INR 10.4 lakh. The fees might vary throughout the speciaslisations candidates wants to apply in. The fees might includes multiple other fee components that must be paid once during the admission prcess. The ME fees can be paid in advance in each semester/term on the notified dates before registration. No withdrawal from a course or courses will entitle a student to a refund of fees.

BITS Pilani Goa accepts its in-house entrance exam called Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) for admisson to its undergraduate engineering courses (BE). The entrance exam is conducted online and around 3 Lacs students apply for it every year. Candidates must atleast try to secure 300 which may ensure you a seat at any of the campuses of BITS. o participate in the examination and admission process, the candidates will have to fill out and submit the BITSAT 2025 application form online at the official website of the exam.

BITS Pilani direct admission is admission offered to students without them having to appear in the BITSAT exam. Direct admission to Integrated First Degree and Higher Degree courses across the streams of Science, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities.
