The BTech courses are the flagship courses of NIT Goa. Bachelor's in Technology courses are offered for a duration of four years, divided into eight semesters, and offered in full-time mode. - Eligibility Criteria: The basic eligibility criteria that NIT Goa accepts for admission into BTech courses are that candidates must have completed Class 12 in the Science stream (PCM) with 75% aggregate (65% for reserved categories).

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam takes place in the month of April every year. Whereas, the application form for Session 2 will be available on the JEE Mains website. The exam is conducted by NTA.
NIT Goa offers seats in BTech programme based on their JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA Counselling. Admission to MTech courses is based on GATE scores. Aspirants without GATE scores can appear for written test conducted by the institute. Candidates must pass written test conducted by NIT Goa for admission to PhD.
Last year, CRL cutoff for general male students was 12k. Yes, candidates can change their BTech branch at NIT Goa after the first year. A student admitted to a particular branch of the undergraduate programme will continue studying in that branch till completion. However, the Institute may permit a student admitted through JEE (Main)/DASA quota, to change from one branch of studies to another after the first two semesters.
