1. Students shall be admitted to this course, through a national level written entrance test conducted by the University of Delhi.
2. The test will be conducted separately for English Medium (Total seats 60) and Hindi Medium (Total seats 60).
3. Students who secure 50% in Class XII (irrespective of the streams) will be eligible to apply for the entrance test.

Normally speaking, one can do MA in a subject only after completing graduation in that subject. This is so since one needs to have a foundation in that subject before embarking on post-graduation studies. Therefore I think you will not be eligible for admission in MA in a different subject than your graduation subject.

There are no specific books which will provide the short-cut of preparing for the entrance. All you have to do is, you just go through the previous year question paper and there you will get the idea and a nature of questions by which you will find some specific topic which usually asked questions and from there you can prepare in 14 days of study by focussing on that very topics. Well, this is a self-assessing way of preparation which seems to be natural somehow. Otherwise, read the syllabus. Search for a book which covers the whole syllabus. Make sure that you read according to the syllabus, otherwise, you will never be able to finis
