CUET UG is the accepted entrance exam for IUST Awantipora BA admission. The entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is usually conducted around May - June every year. For the current year, the NTA has scheduled the CUET UG 2025 exam to be conducted in multiple slots between May 08 and June 01, 2025. Candidates must visit the official exam website to check out the latest exam schedule.

IUST Awantipora BSc admission is primarily entrance-based. The university accepts CUET UG scores to provide admission to candidates who fulfil the preset eligibility crietria. Only the candidates who have completed Class 12 with the minimum required aggregate and relevant subjects are eligible for admission. Admission to BSc in Nursing is based on the norms of J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE). Candidates who do not have a valid exam score can apply for admission against vacant seats (if any). However, preference is given to candidates with a valid entrance exam score.
