The allotment of hostel seats in Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu, is majorly based on availability. Preference would be given to students from outside the city. The hostel accommodation provided is shared and either a two- or three-student-per-room accommodation. The allotment process is pretty simple, but due to limited capacity, all may not get a hostel seat immediately.
The Institute has a provision for a Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme. Under this scheme, students are admitted based on their merit and financial background. With a rank of 231, the student stands a chance to get a seat under TFWS in Civil Engineerin

Yes, as B.Ed is a practical based course. So there are assignments & practical in both distance & regular mode. I would suggest that instead of choosing outside the state, choose your local area or nearby state. As your intention is not to get the degree but to remain in the education field. So, whenever you choose the local area you can teach practices in the local area so that whenever you will apply for job or selected it will be easy for you. Rather than getting a degree.

The total tuition fee for the BTech course is INR 1.8 Lacs - INR 4.1 lakh. The total tuition fee for the MBA course is INR 3,200 - INR 1.9 lakh. The total tuition fee excludes th admisison charges, transportation charges, hostels charges, and various other charges. This university is quite affordable. If students feel that the fee is very high worry not apply for the scholarships offered by the university.

Jammu University admission to the BTech course is online. Candidates willing to get admission must have valid scores in entrance exams. The basic eligibility criteria is Class 12 with a minimum of 45%-50%. aggregate. The accepted entrance exams are JKCET,  JEE Main,  CBSE 12th,  PSEB 12th,  CUET, and others. Hardworking students have easily secured admission in this university.
