In most of the top institutions like IIMs, the minimum eligibility to pursue an MBA is 50% aggregate in graduation. But the marks in graduation are not the only criteria. The institutions accepts entrance tests scores and, conducts group discussions and interviews for admission. Therefore, candidates can do an MBA after BA from Kashmir University.

Students must have the following documents with them during the Kashmir University BA admission as mentioned below: 

  • Class 10 marksheet
  • Class 12 marksheet
  • Category Certificate (if any)
  • Character Certificate

If any other documents are required, then the same will be mentioned in the respective course admission notice or in the university admission brochure.

KU placement 2024 details are not released yet. According to NIRF report 2024, 119 UG students were placed during KU BA placements in 2023. The KU BA median package for UG courses was between INR 5 LPA and INR 8 LPA.

Kashmir University has adopted the "Student Aid Fund" scheme under which financial assistance is extended to students, particularly the meritorious students who belong to low-income groups. The Kashmir University Alumni Association also provides financial assistance to students who have a poor economic background with preference being given to students who are orphans.

SKUAST BSc (Hons) admission 2024 is entrance-based for the academic year 2024. For Free seats and Self Financing seats (State Domicile), admissions are through:

  • Common Entrance Test through SKUAST-Jammu
  • ICAR quota through All India Counselling by ICAR after CUET
  • On the nomination of in-service candidates through state government (only free seats)
  • VCI quota through NEET and based on the list provided by the VCI through their counselling portal

For Self-Financing seats under NRIs/ NRI Sponsored/ All India Basis/ Wards of Serving Employees Categories, admissions are through the University itself based on merit in SKUAST-J CET and mar

Candidates seeking admission to SKUAST BSc (Hons) must have passed the Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with PCB/ PCM/ PCBM/ Agriculture (with Science subjects), besides English with 50% aggregate for OM, NRI/ NRI-sponsored category, and 40% aggregate for reserved categories.

Candidates hailing from states/ UTs other than Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh can only seek admission under the NRI/ NRI sponsored quota for BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture and against Self Financing, seats for Postgraduate courses kept under the All India Basis category.
