The Central University of Kashmir PG admission to MA, MSc and MCom, among other courses are based on candidates' performance in the CUET PG entranc exam, followed by a university based counselling rounds. During the CUK CUET PG 2024 cutoff, the most in-demand course was M.A. of Law (LL.M.) with a last round score of 100 for the General AI quota. For the OBC category students, the round 1 and the last round cutoff scores were 93 and 59, respectively in the AI quota.

The cut off mark for B.A. LL.B course of The Law School, University of Jammu is not the same every year, keeping in view factors such as the number of applicants, number of seats, and general, SC/ST, etc. categories. Generally, during these recent years, the cut-off has been lying among the general category students in the qualifying examination, Class 12th, between 75% to 85%. Reserved categories usually have lower cutoffs. Since admission is competitive, higher your marks, better will be your chances of getting in. Central University of Kashmir offers entrance-based admission to all the courses. The university admission to various UG and PG courses except BTech and MBA courses is based on CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance score, respectively. Further, the university accepts JEE Main and CMAT for admission to BTech and MBA, respectively. Additionaly, to be eligible for UG courses, candidates must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board. For admission to any PG courses, candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognised university or institute.
