No, you can't get admission. You have to clear both the exam, and if you are not qualified in one, then you can't be able to take admission in this college.

Hi Arnab,
To get admitted in St. Xavier's College, Kolkata for B.Com you must have Mathematics in your +2 that is class 11th and class 12th Maths and English are the two compulsory subjects. As far as I know, St. Xavier's University, Newtown which was inaugurated last year provides B.Com degree, even if you don't have Maths. Kindly, check both the websites for further details.

You can try your best, but the chances of getting this college is quite low. So, I'll prefer you to look in other colleges also. If you get any of these colleges, then it is good to have it. But, if not, then you should have a backup plan, but you might get admission in NIT-Jamshedpur.

They will definitely ask you about your marks and all so you have to give a very clever kind of answer. Rest, your XAT score will definitely matter.

You should have a gentle reason like if there was some serious issue because of which you backed. Else, they will definitely give priorities to a 3 year but yes, keep you score very good to give a good impression in front of faculties.

For Mechanical engineering, I would suggest you go for Thapar Institute as it has better lab facilities, infrastructure, experienced faculty members and a better curriculum. I don't know much about Sindi so can't comment on that, but BIT is losing its name and values day-by-day so it's a no according to me. Rest is your own decision, do a proper research and decide wisely. All the best!

MBA is offered by a university but PGDM is offered by a college (autonomous college).
