IIT Kanpur BSc curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. The curriculum of the BSc programme differs for each BSc specialisation offered by the institution. Candidates are required to study Institute Core, Department Compulsory, Department Elective, Open elective and, various other subjects during the course of the programme.

IIT Kanpur BSc median package is INR 15 LPA while the median package offered to the students at IIT Bombay is INR 35 LPA.

IIT Kanpur and IIT KGP charge the same fees for the BSc programme. The fees range from INR 8 to 10 lakh. To compare based on the package, the median package offered to IITK BSc students was INR 15 LPA. The package offered to IIT KGP BSc students ranged from INR 15.5 LPA - INR 18.75 LPA.

The closing rank of round one for the IIT Kanpur BSc Statistics and Data Science course for the year 2023 through the JEE Advanced was 1,090 while on another hand the closing rank of last round for the BSc Statistics and Data Science course was 1,090.
