CSJM University offers a four-year BTech degree programme spread across eight semesters. The fulfilment of the following CSJMU BTech eligibility criteria is necessary for securing BTech admission at the university:
- Eligibility for BTech admission: Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% in Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board/organisation, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Eligibility for Lateral Entry: Candidates must have completed a three-year diploma from any institution recognised by the UP Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering/Technology except Agriculture Engineering, or passed a three-year BSc degree from any recognised university, in addition to passing Class 12 exam with Mathematics as a subject
CJSMU BTech Fees 2025

CSJMU BTech admission is based on the JEE (Main) ranks. Hence, aspirants must look out for the important JEE (Main) dates. JEE exams take place in two sessions. Session 1 is usually held in January and Session 2 in April. The JEE (Main) registration process is conducted online on the official NTA website. The CSJMU BTech application process is conducted in online mode. Candidates seeking CSJM University admission must follow a multi-step process. The steps mentioned-below show the entire process for CSJMU BTech course admissions:
STEP 1: CSJMU BTech Application Process 2025
BTech admission at CSJMU is entrance-based. Hence, the first step in the admission process is the apply and appear for the accepted entrance exam, i.e. JEE (Main). Candidates must visit the official exam website to register and apply for the programme. They must download the admit card once it is released and appear for the exam on the scheduled day. Step 2: CSJMU BTech Selection Process & Counselling
Candidates who have a valid JEE Main score can register for online counselling through the university's BTech admission portal. They must submit the required documents and a non-refundable counselling registration fee of INR 1,500. After completing the registration process, they can fill out and lock the choices for their preferred BTech branch/specialisation.
The counselling will be done in three rounds (unless there are vacant seats). The seat allotment result for each round of counselling will be declared on the university's official website. Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted branch can 'Freeze' their seat and proceed to the next step. Other candidates can choose the 'Float' option to be considered for auto-upgradation during the next counselling round. Candidates who have not chosen the 'Freeze' or 'Float' option will have to re-register for the counselling process and submit the registration fee again.
Step 3: Admission Confirmation
Candidates who have secured their desired seat during the counselling process must submit the seat acceptance fee of INR 25,000 (INR 17,000 for SC/ST candidates). Later, they must report to the university on the stipulated date. They must bring along their original documents for verification. After the document verification, aspirants must confirm their seats by submitting the remaining CSJMU fees applicable to them. Failure to pay the fees will result in the cancellation of admission.
