IIT Kanpur MBA total tuition fee ranges between INR 2.8 Lacs and INR 13.1 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee excludes admission fee, security deposits, semester fee and hostel charges. There is relaxation in fee for reserved category students. Candidates need to pay fee after completion of the selection rounds, to confirm their seat. 

Apart from the tuition fee, aspirants need to register with an application fee in the start of the admission process. The application fee is INR 1,600 for General/ OBC (NCL) candidates. The fee is low (INR 800) for SC/ ST/ DAP candidates.

The University has not released the separate MBA placement details for 2023. Earlier, as per the NIRF report 2023, 81 out of 104 MBA graduates were placed during 2022 placements. In 2021, out of 170 MBA graduates 42 were placed successfully. The median package offered during 2022 placements was INR 3.20 LPA, which was nearly 7% higher than the amount offered in 2021.
