GIBS Business School provides its students with comprehensive placement services. GIBS has an active (and year-round) Placement and Corporate Relations office. This team works directly with recruiters on behalf of our students to get jobs for them. In order to assist students in performing well during placement drives, we offer Career Counselling Services - such as how to write a resume, how to conduct job interviews, how to participate in group discussions and other forms of assessment as well as the Exposure Sessions and Personalised Mentoring that enables students to be as prepared and confident as possible. GIBS has a large list of companies from various industries that participate in the GIBS Internship Programme and Final Placement Programme, providing our students with opportunities for employment that fit their qualifications and career objectives.

A typical day on GIBS' s vast 10-acre campus incorporates many facets of learning, experience and an active campus life. Morning classes take place in centrally air-conditioned digital classrooms. Here professors connect the concepts of theory with application via several methods; mostly through the use of case studies, presentations, and interactive discussions.

Students interact with one another during break periods in many open green spaces throughout the campus, as well as in coffee shops, where students go for a brief period of looking up information on the internet, and to work on group projects together.

Afternoon class schedules include time spent in computer labs and working on live-projects, reviewing internships or completing industry-focused sessions. Some afternoons include industry-related sessions done by audio or video conference with guest speakers or instructors, and are held in GIBS' s fully-equipped seminar rooms and auditoriums.

After class ends students can be seen engaging in a variety of activities organized by the clubs at GIBS; practicing for an upcoming sporting event, rehearsing for an upcoming cultural performance, or getting ready for placement testing. Evening hours are very much more laidback than daytime hours and can include relaxing on GIBS' s gardens, getting in a game on the racquetball courts, and working together to prepare for upcoming competitions. Overall, when a student spends a full day on GIBS campus, it will balance out their experiences to provide them with an appropriate educational foundation and opportunities for leadership, as well as developing their personal skills, in a professional but energetic environment.

GIBS accepts the following tests in determining admission into the MBA/PGDM program:

Your test scores will be included as a factor in the shortlist for admission along with other items, including academic performance, personal interviews (PI), and an evaluation of your overall profile. Because we evaluate applicants holistically, having a strong academic performance and performing well in the interview may continue to increase your chances of being admitted even if your score is moderate.

The GIBS campus has been set up to help facilitate holding large events including cultural festivals and placement drives with easier and more professional procedures than before. An upgraded infrastructure includes larger auditoriums, up-to-date seminar halls, open event venues, and flexible indoor/outdoor areas all offering the correct size and types of technical assistance required for success (e.g., Sound Systems, Lighting, Seating) associated with such events. Additionally, Good Connectivity (via High-Speed Wireless Internet) and spacious areas where groups can collaborate and receive Support create a much smoother environment in which recruiters, human resources personnel, and students can participate in Placement Drives. Specifically, the development of well-organized Group Discussion Rooms, Interview Rooms, and Presentation Areas supports a more efficient Placement Drive process; thus providing enhanced comfort level to all participants, (students included) and improved logistical ease surrounding the placement drive. Overall, this development provides the GIBS Academic Community with the added benefit of Improved Quality, Comfort and Logistics with respect to both Individual Educational Activities as well as Major Events Related To Industry Engagements.

Faculty at GIBS stress the importance of acting professionally in their daily lives from being on time, dressing appropriately to preparing structured answers with data support. GIBS prepares students to act, speak and respond in a manner akin to the behaviours and attitudes of their prospective employers prior to their placement (i.e. establishing confidence, clarity and adaptability), which makes students stand out to recruiters in interviews and evaluations.
