Industry exposure in XIME: Industry visits are arranged for the students at regular intervals. The industries usually visited include Hinduja Foundries, Emphasis, Lennox, Flextronics, and Hyundai Motors. Besides this, as part of the Live Project, students had the opportunity to visit various companies like Airtel, OBO Better man, Apollo, BHEL, IndusInd Bank, Stanadyne, etc. LIVE Field Project for Students:
XIME has launched this initiative to enable the students to have exposure to industry by visiting the companies around 2-3 times each. Launched in Jan 2018, this provides our students with continuous practical experience on the one hand and, on the other hand, serves to create a positive impression/impact among companies in regard to our students' capabilities. Under this model, our students grasp the theory in the classrooms inside the campus, and put it into practise by putting it into action inside an actual company. This is in addition to the summer internship project. Meeting of HR Managers in and around Oragadam, SIPCOT (XIME)
XIME organised a HR Meet in December 2017 for manufacturing companies in and around Oragadam with a view to getting to know the neighbourhood and creating a platform for HR professionals in the region to network. 35 HR Leaders from 20 Oragadam-based companies visited the campus, including Nissan, Allison, Flextronics, Nippon Paint, Danfoss, Delphi, Unipress, Essar, Hyundai Steel, Momentive, and Tempel Steel. XIME organized another meeting of HR Leaders in Oragadam/Sriperumbudur Industrial Area in March 2018. Oragadam. 41 HR Leaders from 29 companies, including large/multinational companies like Nissan, Tempel Steel, Yamaha, BMW, Sanmina, Flextronics, Delphi, Essar, Hyundai, Dana Corporation, Toyotsu, Kasai-India, Apollo Tyres, Seoyon E-Hwa, etc. , visited our campus.

Club Activities: XIME is a student-centric institute. Enthusiasm fills the air as students experience the joy of learning. All campus staff aim to help students discover their true potential. XIME attempts to stimulate students and to help them with the necessary intellectual resources to become productive managers who can confidently face future corporate challenges. FINITIATIVE: The finance club of XIME, FINITIATIVE, is a student-driven initiative that collaborates both with corporate institutions from the financial sector as well as academia, to provide a valuable platform for students to improve their quantitative and analytical abilities. HRUDAY: Touching Hearts, Transforming People Every year, HRUDAY, the HR Student Club, organizes biz-fest-like competitions and events, along with interactions with distinguished HR professionals. This continuous out-of-class learning aims to take students closer to the real world. MARKXIME: Ideate, Innovate, Create Three words that will be etc. Hed into the minds of every XIME student, thanks to the efforts of MARKXIME, the marketing club of the institute. To Mark Xime, marketing is a battle of wits and the ability to execute creative ideas. X-OPS: The X-OPS club aims to get students involved with the operations group and to create an awareness among them about the importance of operations in each and every aspect of day-to-day business. X-SEED: It is the social club of XIME which undertakes numerous social activities and helps in adding value to society. The students, through X-seed, have organized walkathons, blood donation camps, school adoption projects, fundraising for NGOs, donations for the blind, village adoption projects and other social events. EMPRESSARIO: Empressario is one of the very vibrant clubs of XIME, which focuses on entrepreneurial initiatives on the campus. This club organizes activities that involve students and potential entrepreneurs. X-Oration: It is the perfect platform to conquer stage fright. With various activities and events, from extempore to Just-a-Minute, our students are exposed to the stage ever so often, making it possible for them to shape up as effective speakers. ROTARACT CLUB: The Rotaract club of XIME is one of the active clubs which organizes a lot of fun activities drawing on the cultural diversity at our campus. A highly energetic club which is closely associated with the Rotaract Club of Bangalore, it also organizes activities fostering managerial drive and talent.

In the XIME hostel, there were 2 students in a room. Rooms are provided with ACs, and the rooms are cleaned by housekeeping staff once a week. The boys' and girls' hostels are out of bounds for the opposite genders. The curfew time was 9.00 PM. There are common room where you can watch TV. You'll have a water cooler on every floor of the hostel, and Wi-Fi will be provided. Regarding food, you'll have a mix of northern and southern Indian food. Non-veg food was present. The menu can be changed by a mess committee consisting of students from different backgrounds and faculty members. You have a small food counter where you can get ice cream, biscuits, and some snacks. With respect to the diversity of the students, it has a good mix of students from different parts of the country and has a more or less equal gender ratio too. The experience will be depending on person to person, and it's up to you to make good use of the available resources.

Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) is a private business school with three fully residential campuses, in Bangalore, Kochi, and Chennai, all in India. XIME is currently being led by Anil J. Phillip as the President. The Institute pioneered the Association of BRICS Business Schools (ABBS, est. 2008), which is a platform for management education in Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. XIME arranges international events in collaboration with seventeen partner institutions around the globe, which is popularly known as the Student Exchange Programme, including campus exchange programmes, faculty exchange programmes, and an international study tour for its students. XIME took the initiative in the formation of the Association of BRICS Business Schools (ABBS), thus bringing together Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. XIME offers a two-year PGDM course with specializations in Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, and Business Analytics. XIME Bangalore also offers PGCM in Construction Management and Healthcare Management. It was ranked 45th best in South India by Outlook-ICARE India MBA Rankings 2020.

General Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed their BTech/ BE/ BSc engineering degree in their respective discipline from any University of Kerala or any other equivalent exam with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-pointer scale.
Candidates must have qualified for GATE 2022 with a valid score. GATE score will not be required for candidates seeking admission in MTech Marine Biotechnology. Such candidates will have to qualify for JNU CEE MTech 2022.
Non-GATE-qualified candidates can appear for the CUSAT Department Admission Test (DAT) that will be conducted for admissions later.
Candidates must have completed BTech/ BE/ BSc Engineering Degree Examination in Civil Engineering branch with a minimum of 60% marks from any University in Kerala or an examination of any other University/ Institution accepted by this University.
Candidates who have passed sections A&B examinations conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India) AMIE in the Civil branch will be eligible.
A valid GATE score is a must.
