Yes, Calcutta Universityoffers various scholarships and endowments to UG, PG and doctoral students. The university offers 3 state scholarships to UG students, 120 scholarships to PG students and 9 scholarships to MPhil students. The PhD students enrolled at the university, can avail the University Research Fellowship (URF) of INR 18,000 pm for JRF and INR 20,000 for SRF.

Yes, B.Pharma programs in Kolkata also have the requirement of internships wherein students must complete minimum 150 hours. It can be done at hospitals, community pharmacies or industrial pharmacy. This will give name of the practical experience hands on training and skills to start their careers as doctors or pharmacists.
