Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) provides merit-based scholarships to students pursuing UG or PG courses from MAHE. The deemed-to-be university offers Freeship, Scholar and Achiever Scholarships. Check below details:

Achiever category Scholarship constitutes 5% of the General Category intake for each branch and is applicable at the beginning of second year, third year and fourth year based on the annual academic performance of the immediate previous year.

Freeship involves 100% of the course fee payable

• Candidates are required to pay the full first-year course fee including a refundable Caution deposit of INR 10,000 at the time of seat allotment/ before the deadline specified for payment of full first-year fee.
• Candidates admitted under Freeship Category will have to take care of other expenses such as hostel accommodation, food, books etc.

Step 1: MAHE Bangalore Application Process 2024

The mode of application is online for all courses. Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 600. The entrance exam fee is INR 1,400 for selected courses. Candidates first need to register followed by filling out the application form.

Step 2: Selection Rounds

MAHE shortlists candidates based on MET, DET or other entrance exams for a few courses. For courses like MCom, BA (Hons), BCom (Hons), etc., merit in the last qualifying exam is considered. The university releases a merit list after completion of the selection rounds to announce the names of shortlisted candidates.

Step 3: Admission Confirmation/ Counselling

A provisional admission notice is sent to candidates shortlisted based on merit. Aspirants who have appeared for the entrance exam are called for counselling. Candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

Sikkim Manipal admission to the majority of the courses is based on valid scores of national/ university-level entrance exams, whereas for other courses admissions are granted on a merit basis.
