Manipur University offers lateral-entry admission to second year of the course if there is any vacant seats remaining or as per the seat intake for the year. Yes, there is lateral entry admission for the BTech course at Manipur University. If there are any vacant seats in the second year or third semesters shall be considered for admission through Lateral Entry in addition to the intake capacity. The lateral entry seats will be filled up based on the marks secured in Admission Test to be conducted by the Institute in Physics and Mathematics subject. Further, candidates must have passed Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology. 

For Manipur University for BTech course admission candidates can apply in two ways either with JEE score or without JEE scores.
