The fee structure of Kalinga University is different for different courses. For a student who wants to take admission in Kalinga University in MSC, he or she has to be pass in the graduation (Bsc) with minimum of 40% marks and then he will have to appear and pass the Kalinga University's own entrance exam named KALSEE (Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam) then he/she can apply for the admission in M.Sc in the Kalinga University. The Fee expenses for the admission in MSC in the university is about 1.20 Lakhs per annum and it's about 2.80 Lakhs for 2 years ( i.e full course fee) .

The average package of MBA in this University lies between 2.55 Lakhs to 4.2 Lakhs per annum. The placements rates lies between 75-82% in Kalinga University. The expenses difference between Kalinga University and Shri Shankaracharya technical campus varies from course to course. For example expenses for the course BTech in Kalinga University is 1.41 Lakhs (1st year only) and expenses for BTech in Shankaracharya technical campus is about RS 80,400 ( 1st year only) and the expenses for MBA in Kalinga University is 2.11 Lacs (1st year only ) and same for the MBA in Shankaracharya technical campus is about RS 80,900. Admission process in Kalinga University is based on the merit list of students. The student who has passed his graduation with minimum of 40% marks is eligible for the entrance exam of Kalinga University named KALSEE ( Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam). It is a computer based test which is compulsory for all students to who wants to take admission in the university. It is a 90 minute duration MCQ test with no negative marking and application fees for this test is Rs 1,000 . Its cut off varies but you can pass it if you eligible in obtaining atleast 50% marks in the entrance test.

The admission process in the Kalinga University is on the basis of the merit list of the students it's not too hard to get admission in Kalinga University but it's not too easy to get in also. University also takes its entrance exam names KALSEE (Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam), it is a computer based test which is conducted in various cities of India and other countries . A student with minimum 40% marks in 12th is applicable for filling of admission in Kalinga University so 70% marks in 12th is also eligible for the admission in the university.

BSc is a 3 year UG course, and M.Sc is a 5 year PG course. Both of them are good in terms of placements. BSc is a shorter duration course than M.Sc, so it has lower placement offers as compared to the M.Sc course. B.Sc offers 75%-80% placements, and in M.Sc 80%-85% of students get placement, Therefore, the placement rate is good for both the courses. The average package of placements is INR 2.5 LPA to INR 4.2 LPA.
