IIM Raipur was set up by Indian government in 2010 in Chhattisgarh. It extends over 200 acres of land in Atal Nagar. The institute fall under Ministry of Education.
The fee for the first year is 9.3L (including academic charges, lodging charges and some miscellaneous charges.) For the second year it is 8.6L approximately. So in total it costs you around 18L for 2 years (which includes medical insurance too). Caution deposit is to be paid once.

For a B.Tech program, Amity University Raipur is usually regarded as superior to ICFAI University Raipur. Amity University is regarded as one of the top private universities in the state, and one source claims that Amity University-Raipur offers better B.Tech programs. Amity University's placement situation is also praised for its excellence; nevertheless, it should be noted that other universities, such as ICFAI University Raipur, offer opportunities as well, and the choice between the two should be based on the particular circumstances of each case.

The college library at NIT Raipur is quite big. The Central Library of NIT, Raipur has a good collection of around more than 1 Lacs of print books, more than 1.7 lacs e-books consisting of both reference books and texts, Ph.D theses, online journal Archive collections and online protocols .
