The 2024 placements for PGP and PGPEx concluded with the highest package of INR 71.50 LPA and INR 35 LPA, respectively. A total of 87 PPO/ PPI offers were made to the PGP students. NIT Meghalaya BTech programme isn’t ranked internationally. However the BTech programmehas been ranked under National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF. NIRF is an approved by the MHRD and was launched by Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29^th of September 2015. The NIRF has ranked NIT Meghalaya BTech programme 72 among top engineering colleges in India.

NIT Meghalaya has released the placements record for 2023. As per the report the recruitng companies, including  Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, etc. participated in the placement drive offereing 199 jobs. NIT Meghalaya Seat intake for the B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 33. The seat intake number is moderately less comapre to NIT Trichy's BTech Seat intake which is 47. 

The 2023 cutoff for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was 25978, which was the least competetive specialisations offered by NIT Nagaland.  The cutoff for the year 2022 was 17921 and for the year 2021 it was 24041. As per the date it concludes that cutoff for 2023 is higher compare to the previous two years, which indicates the rise in demand of the CSE course.

To apply for the BTech programme at NIT Sikkim, candidates must use JEE Main as the application platform. The application process for JEE Main 2024 comprises three stages, which include registration, form filling & document uploading, and payment of the application fee. JEE Main exam dates for BTech programme for admission to NIT Meghalaya is scheduled on Jan 24, which is tentative. As per the exam pattern of JEE Mains, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test. JEE Main 2024 will have three papers, Paper 1 for admission to BE/BTech course, Paper 2A for BArch admission and Paper 2B for BPlan course admission. The duration of the JEE Main exam is three hours and has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will have a total of 90 questions while Paper 2A and 2B have 82 and 105 questions respectively.

Yes,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to NIT Meghalaya BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. The JEE Main registraton has closed for now. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification.
