Yes, there is an M.Tech programme offered at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Sikkim. The institute offers M.Tech in three specialisations: Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Communication Engineering and Control Power and Electric Drives. The M.Tech programme at NIT Sikkim is a two-year full-time course. M.Tech admission selection includes Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 60% and a valid score of GATE/CCMT entrance exam.

The total fee for the BTech programme at NIT Sikkim is INR 5 lakh, Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. ST/SC & PH students are fully exempted from paying tuition fees, while the most economically backward students (whose family income is less than Rs.1.00 Lacs per annum) are granted full remission of the tuition fee. The eligibility criteria for the BTech specialisations includes twelve years of shcool education with 75% aggregate. National entrance exams is the source of admission for the BTech programme.
