No, M.Tech programme isn't free at NIT Sikkim. Candidates seeking to get admission are required to pay the tuition fee which ranges between INR 1.4 lakh, the fees excludes of Eamination Fee of Semester Registration Fee,  Library Fee,  Laboratory Fee, Internet Fee, etc. However NIT Sikkim does have scholarship schemes for students. NIT Sikkim M.Tech application process is done through GATE application process. Candidates need to visit the official website of GATE gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The process of applying includes registration, filling out the online application form, uploading the required documents, and payment of the application fee. 

GATE 2024 registration for M.Tech admission to NIT Sikkim has started .Candidates can also fill GATE application form 2024 online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The NIRF has ranked NIT Sikkim’s BTech programme 173^rd among top engineering colleges in India.
