Hello,
With an AIR of 1209 you'll be able to get any of the 5 years Integrated courses, and the usual 4 years Chemical, Biotechnology, Bio informatics, aerospace and if you're lucky you might get the Electronics and instrumentation engineering.
All the best!

Hi,
Admission into Sastra University is based on your JEE and your 12th board marks combined.
A merit list based on the combination of the both the mentioned marks. If your AIR is anywhere between 500 to 800, you'll be able to get into the mechanical branch.
All the best!

NITs would be better than private universities, but not all. Try for top 15 NITs for CSE, if not then go for SASTRA University. You can also try for VIT SRM and LPU.

Since I had a love for mechanical engineering.I chose NIT, Rourkela because it is awesome for core branches. But in terms of placements, Sastra might be better but NIT, Rourkela is strong in many other areas like infrastructure and academics.

Hello,
That's a good score. You'll get a seat for sure. It can be In aerospace or it can be any other course.
I would recommend you to take up any course and then slide to aerospace after the end of one year (this is possible only if you have a GPA of 9).
Hope this helps.
All the best.
