Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT) and Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) both have strong placements, with SPIT offering a the highest package of 36.5 LPA and VIT with 37.5 LPA in recent years. SPIT has a placement percentage of almost 95% with diverse recruiters, while VIT had TCS Ninja making the most offers in 2021.

VIT Vellore campus life is almost the same as any other college in North India as per the various reviews of the college students online. Many cultural programmes/fests are conducted on campus by the societies that keep the atmosphere lively for students. Moreover, North Indian students shall not face any difficulty in reaching out to the Faculty and Administration as almost everyone speaks in English in the academic blocks. Hence, there is no language barrier and difficulty in discussions with the authorities.

There are a total of 5,340 seats for the BTech programmes at VIT Vellore. Each of the course specialisation has a certain seat intake. As per information available on the net, VIT does not have a provision of seat reservation for the reserved category candidates. Really good faculty and infrastructure. Placements: Around 75–80% of students get placed in my course. The highest package in VIT was 35 LPA last year; the average package was around 3.5–4 LPA; and the lowest was around 2 LPA. Internships are less common through the college.The highest package up until now is INR 10.2 LPA and the average package is around INR 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for computer Science are IDFC, Carwale, Seclore, etc.
