Biotechnology or Biomedical engineering, the eligible combination is either Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). A pass with Minimum aggregate of 55% in the above mentioned subjects in standard XII or its equivalent.Candidates should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% and above in PCM/PCB in 10+2 or equivalent examinations. However, the minimum percentage marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states is 55%. Based on previous years' cutoff trends, a score of around 120-130 out of 125 marks in the VITEEE exam may be considered a good score for admission to the CSE branch at VIT. However, it is important to note that the cutoff marks can vary and are subject to change each year based on the above factors.

Yes, the placement cell of VIT Vellore support students in grabbing international internship opportunities. The students becomes eligible for placements and internship programmes in their fifth semester. As per the VIT official website, the placement centre place an average of 10 students every year in top MNCs. Some of the countries in which the students have grabbed internships are UAE, Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan, Japan, Ireland, etc.
