Yes VIT, Vellore accept NMAT score for its MBA courses. The detailed eligibility criteria is given below. Eligibility criteria: A minimum of 60% mark of First class is required in undergraduate degree from a recognised University or Institution. A Bachelors degree should be of minimum of three years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent. The candidate should have studied in regular full-time programmes. The candidate should have taken any one of the tests- CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA and the scores should be made available to the admissions office before the last date of application. Selection process : Selection of candidates is based on the Written Assessment Test (What), Personal Interview (PI) and CAT / XAT / MAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/CMAT/ATMA Score. Yes you can apply for VIT exam for following courses. Candidates who have (Biology / Physics / Chemistry) in +2/ Higher Secondary Board are eligible for the following Bio stream programmes only. But after joining, registering Mathematics as bridge course is mandatory.

The eligibility criteria of NRI students for B.Tech courses of VIT is given below.
FOR NRI CANDIDATES :
1. English as one of the subjects in the qualifying Examination.
2. For admission to B.Tech courses, candidates should have completed 12 years of schooling (equivalent to the 10+2 system of Indian Education) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.
3. Minimum average of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Biology or Biotechnology (PCB) in standard XII or Equivalent Degree -Usually it is Grade C, to be produced with equivalent marks.
4. In case if they have studied Physical science with a combination of Physics and Chemistry as subjects in the qualifying examination, they should produce the certificate of approval from the school to that effect and also proper approval from AIU / Board of Studies.
5. Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible for all the B.Tech. Degree programmes.
6. Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible to apply.
