VIT Vellore is a very good college and better than Chitkara. But living in south especially for north Indians, it is quite difficult. The main problem is the food. I assume that, you mean to ask about placements. So that is not fixed. Every year depending upon the vacancy many companies come. Also, TPO cell is quite active, so new companies also join the campus placement drive.

Rank of 282 in what? Admission in Integrated courses is based on the basis of 12th marks. So, you need not appear for any entrance test to get admission.
