If you have chance, my personal opinion is prepare again if your economic condition supports, because if you don't take risk, you will not get something big. Now, if you take admission in VIT, you have to pay fee for 4 year now. If you prepare from a coaching, you will pay for 1 year and after that if your family income is less than INR. 1 lac, you don't have to pay fees in NITs or IITs. So, better to give yourself a chance.

According to me DAIICT, Gandhinagar and VIT are best for M.Tech. You can choose according to your criteria.

Yes, VIT University is good to pursue engineering, especially its Vellore campus is very good and has a good placements and academics records. Vellore comes under top 10 engineering colleges in India. But don't go for their Bhopal or Amravati campuses, they are newly opened campuses (opened in 2017).

Among all, DTU is definitely the best option. Here, at DTU, we have lots of good societies to develop your skill sets and also to develop you skills for the placement.

There is a separate admission process. It starts before the VITEEE exam. Fees is higher.

Then, you'd have to take category 2. Fees will be 2.3 lacs per annum.

NIT Kurukshetra is better college than VIT because NIT provides good course curriculum, good quality of faculty members, good placements and good computer labs also.

Definitely, computer engineering in VIT, Vellore is better because VIT, Vellore gives you the best placements and academics records as compared to engineering from RGIPT.

In my opinion, VIT Chennai is better than BIT Sindri because VIT provides good course curriculum and good quality of faculty members also.
