It's sound good to compare IIIT-H with the IITs, NITs. People generally prefer IIIT-H over lower and new IITs and the NITs.
The only factor on which I can compare VIT and IIIT-H is the fees. Both the college have the fees around Rs 2 lakhs/annum.
For the rest of factors, there is no comparison.
P.S. Don't go blindly with the rank if you have seen published by some local survey.

Hello Harlin,
For admission in B. Arch at VIT University you need to write only NATA exam. The admission is also based on the same. VITEEE is only for engineering admissions.

Your rank must be less than 10K in VITEEE for getting admission in any branch if VIT for Computer Science and Engineering.

All the Branches are good here, it depends on your interest. NCERT is the best option and apart from this book, you can try to revise from previous year question paper.

Hello,
To get admission for biotechnology program at VIT-Vellore, then you need to opt for PCBE in VITEEE exam.
For all courses related to biology stream, PCBE should be the choice.

There is no reservation policy in any private college. You have to score well among all student. But you can get a scholarship after the 1st year if you scored good marks in the first 2 semesters.
