For getting admission in COEP, your marks should be range between 125-135. This cutoff is only for students who belongs to OBC category. 

As per the same source, a person with rank 58,000 was able to get admission in VIT Amaravati. However, I couldn’t find any information regarding the eligibility criteria for admission with VIRMT rank 88000.

In recent past, the highest package offered during VIT MBA placements was 18 LPA. Further, 148 offers were made.

VIT is well known for its BTech placements. It offers good placements every year for BTech course, especially the CSE and ECE branch. According to the the unofficial online sources, the VIT Vellore CSE avearge package offered to the BTech batch 2025 stood at INR 8.13 LPA. The median package was INR 6 LPA. A total of 315 CSE students secured the salary of more than INR 20 LPA in the academic year 2024-25.

As per unofficial sources, Engineering is a popular domain among the alumni of VIT Vellore with approximately 24.2% associated with it. Other popular fields with which the former students of the institute are associated include Information Technology, Operations and Education with 20.3%, 13% and 11%, respectively. VIT Vellore highest package offered during the 2026 placement drive stood at INR 1 Cr per annum LPA. Earlier, the highest packages offered to the batch 2025 was 1 Crore as well.
