Stages to become a Company Secretary:
The student who would like to join the course after 10+2 pass or equivalent has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretary course-
1. Foundation Programme
2. Executive Programme
3. Professional Programme
The student who would like to join the course after passing graduation has to undergo two stages of Company Secretaryship i.e. Executive Programme and Professional Programme.
Foundation Programme can be pursued by 10+2 pass or equivalent students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream (excluding Fine Arts).
Executive Programme can be pursued by a graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.

CA with CS means full pool of opportunity but it is very difficult so you should do B.Com with CA or CS.

Hi,
You are pretty much eligible for pursuing CS programme because the basic eligibility for applying in this course is the candidate should clear 10 + 2 exams. Provisional registration is also allowed for students of 10 + 2 awaiting the result. Students who have cleared CA-CPT or have cleared CMA foundation exams or student who have Masters degree in any discipline other than fine arts can appear in CS foundation exam.
You are pretty much eligible for pursuing CS programme because the basic eligibility for applying in this course is the candidate should clear 10 + 2 exams. IN MOU with ICSA, London The ICSI and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK Provides that Members of ICSI are exempted from passing 14 out of 17 papers and are required to pass the following three core papers to acquire the membership of ICSA-
Corporate Law
Corporate Secretaries
Corporate Administration

A CS student has generally much knowledge about most of the software/hardware components of the computer. Also after completion of the course. He may have the knowledge of coding perfectly. So, companies can ask you to work for them as a coder. Or they can as to design software. Many more types of work are there in the CS stream.
