Hello,
To be an engineer, you need to have science with PCM (physics, chemistry, mathematics) background. So unfortunately, in your case, you're not eligible to be a software engineer.
However, If you had mathematics and computer as your subjects in 12th board examination, you can get for BCA (Bachelors in Computer Application), which is a 3 years course, followed by MCA (Masters in computer application) which is also a 3 years course. In case, you didn't have mathematics as a subject in 12th, then you can learn a course of your interest from reputed computer coaching institutes like NIITs etc.
I hope I have been able to answer your queri

Hello,
While computer engineering equally covers both hardware and software aspects, Information Technology and software engineering has a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.
Unless and until, you get a job in a hardware manufacturing company like Intel, Logitech, etc. this little difference in the syllabus hardly matters. Most of the jobs offered are in the software domain.

Hello Naveen,
You should not get too fascinated with ethical hacker as they show in movies. Most of the institutes provide just a basic fancy course under the name of ethical hacking, just to attract students and earn more.
Hacking itself is illegal. No companies hire hackers to steal information, as it would land them in serious legal issues.
I would rather recommend you to go for security specialist professionals. These jobs are highly payable and in high demand as most companies need them to protect their own data.
This requires knowledge of Computer Networking. As you've mentioned that you will be opting for Software Engineering, I wou

Yes, you can opt for computer science engineering after 12th and look for a career as a software engineer. After 12th, you must give a hard try to get into IITs/NITs. CSE from IITs and NITs will be a good strive forward to become a software engineer.

Hello Divyansh,
To be able to become a software engineer, you need to have PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) combination in your 12th standard. After you 12th board examinations are ovee, you need to appear for various entrance examinations.
I would suggest you to appear for IIT JEE and AIEEE. These two entrance examinations provide admissions to IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
I would also suggest you to appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee you good colleges and serve as a backup in ca

Hello Subrata,
Any branch of engineering is a 4-year course. The fees varies from college to college. IITs and NITs are cheap, but difficult to get admission in. Private colleges are a bit expensive but are easy to get through.
