Currently St. Xavier's, Ahmadabad is under Gujarat University and only after a year it will become autonomous. That's the reason the course is too novice. According to me computer science is a field where extra courses and certifications that focus on developing skill are more important and thus a decent college would do the need.

It hardly matters which certification you pursue first, but it would be great if you can pursue both the certifications and apart from these, sound technical knowledge is must for a successful professional career ahead.

They will consider you if you clear your SAT and TOEFL. If you are confused you can apply towards what is called and undeclared major in USA. You can apply to a Bachelor's degree but not declaring any specific concentration or specialization. You can later choose after you have explored the courses, subjects and also you will know your aptitude an interest. This will also depend on your test scores and academic performance. To become cyber forensic professional or IT security you need to have following skills prior to get into either cyber security.
Networking fundamentals
Familiarity with multiple versions of Windows
Familiarity with Linux is not necessary but recommended
