No, you can not. Candidate must have a graduate degree in Civics / Political Science / History / Geography / Physical Medicine (MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS ) Education, Nursing (GNM), Sociology from a recognized University.

Counselling is a job which gives you lots of satisfaction. If you are a person who likes to help people if you have a compassionate heart, willingness to listen, people, non-judgemental, and a person who is trustworthy and confidential. This profession is for you. You need to have a PG ( MA/ M.Sc in Psychology and counselling. Added to this you may choose a speciality like counselling Adolescents, Family Counseling, Marriage Counseling, etc. There are certificate courses in career guidance and Counseling, Trauma Counseling, etc. Regular reading of books and articles are very important to update yourself.
