Types

Description

Phishing

A method where attackers trick users into revealing sensitive information via fake emails or websites.

Identity Theft

Stealing personal information to impersonate someone, often for fraud or financial gain.

Ransomware

Hackers use malicious software to lock data, and once done, hackers demand payment for its release.

Dictionary Attack

A method of breaking passwords by using a prearranged list of common passwords or words.

Yes, if you are  eligible, you can apply for M.Sc. in Cyber Forensics and Information Security (CFIS) at the IDE, University of Madras.
