Bachelor of Technology in Dairy or B. Tech. Dairy Technology as it is famously known among the masses is a4 yearlong undergraduate engineering degree course which involves training the admitted students extensively in the production, processing and quality control of dairy related products. Yes, you can do B.Sc in dairy technology. Maths in HSC is not a compulsion. SHIATS in Allahabad offers courses in dairy technology.

Dairy technology is a structured and organized course wherein the aspirant can enter at various levels like diploma, graduation, post graduation and doctoral ones. For entering into the diploma and graduation courses the aspirant should have cleared higher secondary exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. In most of the colleges the minimum passing percentage required is 50%. Only mathematics group students can make career in dairy technology. For B.Tech in dairy technology graduates, there are many good career options available like dairy plant supervisor/assistant manager, Quality Control Officer, etc.

You can also try to get an officer's post in food processing and production firms. This career is in very demand in research and development. You have to research for food technology, its packaging, preserving, etc. To get into research field, you can prepare for CSIR NET exam after completing your B.Tech.
