Hello,
As you want to pursue Masters, but not in hotel management, then you can probably go to Masters in business management or Masters in management, because as you complete your hotel management you have good exposure with this. If any doubts, feel free to write in comment section. All the best.

IES educational qualification Criteria as defined for the UPSC requires the applicant to have cleared ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
1. Must possess a degree in Engineering from a recognised institute with the minimum percentage required.
2. Should have cleared section A and B from the Institutions of engineers (India).
3. Obtained a degree/Diploma in Engineering from such Foreign University/ College/ Institution and the certificate is valued as equivalent to the degree received in India.
4. Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India).

Yes you can migrate with a few procedures needed, but you will have to opt for credits required and first clear them in KSOU - Karnataka State Open University.

B.Tech is itself a degree so you go for B.Tech you will automatically get your degree.

Right now, you are pursuing Mass Communication degree of 3 years, and after this you want to pursue a course of wood designing degree of 4 years. I don't think it is a wise choice, because for 7 years you are continuously studying. And, the two things are not related to each other. Rather, I would suggest you to continue with your Mass Communication degree, and side by side do some certificate courses or something like that in designing. So, you will be counted for your experience in designing as well and Mass Communication. You have the degree only, so that's why I believe that if you wish to do these things, then it's not really bad

Not directly. You will have to first complete a 3yr law degree to be able to practice in this law. Otherwise you can always help In the "examination of patent applications" steps in patent office which is typically an office job with only documents to read.
