Yes, MS in Engineering Management is a good field and has a very good scope, but only when you have at least two or three years of relevant experience. The reason why I mentioned about experience is because EM is a very vast field and any person who is preparing to pursue one should have a clear idea of what he wants to specialize in. I have had many fellow students asking me which subject to choose from because they decide to pursue Masters in EM without knowing what to specialize in, leading to many choosing subjects which gave them A grade.

Hi Keysang,
It is your choice. If you want to build up your career in the field of teaching or research in the specified area, M.Tech/PhD is a mandatory requirement to join as a faculty member in any engineering college. Hope this helps you!
Thanks :)

If you want to make a career in Ethical Hacking, then you should definitely go for Computer Engineering or Computer Science. It's not necessary that if you don't have a degree related to IT field you won't be able learn Hacking. Even a 12th Pass student can learn Ethical Hacking course. Ethical Hacking course is for everyone even a Commerce student can learn Ethical Hacking. But if you want to do job as a Ethical Hacker in a company, then you require a specific degree. Especially IT companies recruit candidates who have done Software Engineering or Computer Science. Even you can learn this course with your Graduation period.

Yes, distance degree is valid for all government jobs. You can apply freely. Few centralized jobs do not accept distance degree. You have to be careful for that. Best of luck.

If your degree officially ended in 2013, by now the degree duration might have expired i.e. you will not be eligible to complete your degree now (give backlog exams), as you have exceeded the maximum duration of the degree.
For more details, contact the college authorities.

Australia Masters is a two-year programme. PGD is a one year programme. If you go for one-year programme, you will not be eligible to apply for permanent residency. Hence, it is better to do a two-year programme.
