May I know from which institute you have completed your Diploma in Hotel management? Because most of the Institutes offering 3 year Diploma in HM provide a correspondence graduation degree.

Yes, they are eligible. They can apply under other state quota. TNEA is the admission process for most of the engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu which are affiliated to Anna University. Your board exam marks are used for admission and there are no entrance exams.
