If your question pertains to the eligibility to get a Job in Journalism and Mass Media domain, then, My answer will be a well observed number. There's no need to do a Degree just to get a job in Mass Media. But of course, the opportunity to learn about Mass Media. Now comes when you are doing a formal course, there are millions who are in Media with and without a degree. It is not important to have a degree.

In India, a three-year Bachelor's degree/PG has become the recognised standard. In order to complete a three-year Bachelor's degree/PG programme, students must study at least 15-20 different subjects and pass a comprehensive exam in each subject. A thesis project in the student's major area of study must be completed by the end of the third year of study. In contrast, a single sitting degree must either make an attempt at a programme curriculum that includes each of these 12 subjects in just a year, or must compromise degree requirements by teaching fewer subjects or watering down the exit exams. I did not understand your question, universities won't give you GRE or TOEFL preparation and how good you perform in your GRE or TOEFL won't depend on the university.
