Design Entrance Exam

The Gautam Buddha University offers admission to the B. Des. In Interior Design programme on the basis of a creative test followed by an interview and portfolio review.
1. Solve some NIFT questions from previous years to prepare for the creative test.
2. You need to be well versed in the math concepts up to the 12th grade level.
3. You can also look up previous year's GBU papers or speak with senior students in this course to get a sense of the types of questions that will be asked in this test.
4. For the interview process, you need to brush up on your communication skills.
5. You need to be clear about why you are applying to GBU for this course in case questions are asked. Since only 20 students are selected for this course, you must be well prepared with your portfolio and creative skills to excel in the selection process.

The syllabus of B. Des in Interior Design has major subjects such as Basics of Structure, Hypothesis of Design, Systematic Drawing, and much more. The elective subjects include Journalism, Dance and Music, and much more. The B. Des Interior Design courses cover a wide range of topics, and are divided into eight semesters. The art and Science of analyzing people's behavior in order to design effective spaces within a building is the curriculum of a B. Des in Interior Design. The courses are divided into eight semesters that deal with balancing creativity with sensitive, pragmatic design thinking. The B. Des Interior Design syllabus provides a thorough understanding of contemporary professional practice as well as all aspects of project management. Students will learn how to use technical tools like AutoCAD, hand drawing, and model making, as well as how to enhance verbal presentation skills.

Bachelor's degree programmes
SAT-1 test results to be sent immediately to NIFT H. O. New Delhi from College Board, USA. When registering for the SAT-1, candidates must specify the Designated Institution (DI) Code, which is 7258. Candidates will be assigned a campus and a programme based on their preferences in addition to their SAT-I, GMAT and GRE scores. Master's Programs
GMAT test results for the Master of Fashion Management MFM should be sent immediately to NIFT H. O. Delhi. M.Des. And M.FTech. Candidates should make arrangements to have their GRE test results sent straight to NIFT H. O. Delhi. The Institute must receive the GRE GMAT and SAT-I results no later than 30 April 2017 and they cannot have been released prior to 1 January 2015. In the GRE GMAT and SAT-I, applicants must select the NIFT Programs as their preference. Candidates who wish to be admitted under this category must submit an online application using the required form.

The CLAT is the entrance exam for NLU's law degree, whereas the NIFT is the entrance exam for NIFT's design courses. Both are gateways to completely different careers in fashion and law. Therefore, the placement and salary for these courses cannot be compared. After graduating from a top NLU, you could earn up to 15 LPA in a law firm. A prestigious NIFT campus can also offer you a comparable placement package for designers. It is just that you have more career opportunities after pursuing a design course from NIFT than a law course from NLU. This is because getting a license to practice law requires passing the AIBE exam, and the legal profession also requires more experience.
