Yes, the tie-breaking rule directly impacts your UCEED 2025 All India Rank. If multiple candidates have the same total score, the candidate meeting the higher priority criteria of the tie-breaking rules will be ranked higher on the merit list.

If two or more candidates have the same UCEED score after considering Part B, Section 2, Section 1, and date of birth, the final decision will be made by the examination authority. Such cases are extremely rare, and the committee ensures a fair and unbiased approach to resolve them.

In case of a tie between two or more candidates with the same total marks, UCEED 2025 has a defined tie-breaking policy. The following criteria will be used in order of priority:

  • Higher marks in Part B of the exam will be considered first.

  • If the tie still persists, higher marks in Section 2 of Part A will be considered.

  • If there is still no resolution, higher marks in Section 1 of Part A will be taken into account.

  • If the tie remains unresolved, the candidate with an earlier date of birth will be given priority.

No, the UCEED 2025 scorecard will only be available in digital format. Qualified candidates will not receive a hard copy by post or email. Candidates are advised to download and print their scorecard from the official portal before the deadline of June 11, 2025. Candidates are advised to download and save their scorecard well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues. Failure to do so may result in the inability to access the document later.

Candidates need to pass their 10+2 education from recognised educational boards to be considered for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance exam. You need to pass in all subjects, including Physics, to be eligible for the NIFT exam. NIFT does not enforce any particular minimum percentage requirement, making your overall 61% valid after successfully completing all your tests.

Unfortunately, you cannot get admission to NIFT's Bachelor of Fashion Technology course without clearing their entrance exam. It is one of the eligibility criteria set by the institution. Along with fulfilling the qualification requirement, you'll be required to sit in the NIFT entrance exam and clear it.
