To calculate the scores from NIFT Provisional Answer Key:

• Download the NIFT answer key from the NTA NIFT Website.
• Compare your answers with the answer key to calculate the number of correct attempts.
• Using the NTA NIFT marking scheme, calculate probable scores.
• Probable scores can be used by the candidate to assess the chances of admission.

Candidates can use NIFT Answer Key to calculate their score in the NIFT entrance exam. NTA will release the NIFT Question Paper and Answer Key. Candidates can count the number of correct answers based on the marking scheme.

NTA released the NIFT Provisional Answer Key on February 17. The objection window was open till February 19, 2026, 11:50 PM.

The PhD admissions to the Institute Assistantship courses at IIT Guwahati require candidates to appear for the GATE or CEED. 

However, PhD admissions to the other categories of PhD courses at IIT Guwahati are not decided on the basis of the aforementioned entrance exams scores.
