This depends on the campus placement. If the company finds suitable candidates, they can offer them a good package; otherwise, getting a very high salary package just after graduation is difficult. NIFT introduced the BFTech (Bachelor of Fashion Technology) course in the year 1986. Keeping an eye on the emerging design industry, they addressed the requirement for skilled professionals in the Fashion Design field with a blend of technology. BFTech course prepares students through both creative and technical approaches. 

In an ideal situation, one year is a good enough time to cover the entire NIFT syllabus, solve sample papers, and take mock tests. But considering there is only 6 months or so left for the NIFT exam, the candidate can still prepare for the exam in that period.
