Design Entrance Exam

ITM IDM Entrance Exam has just one section containing 50 questions evaluating candidates based on their design aptitude.  The candidate must attempt all the sections to get a good score in the exam.

To prepare oneself for the exam, make sure that you refer to the updated syllabus and consult the updated exam pattern. Also, prepare the important topics.

The ITM IDM Entrance Exam is conducted in both offline and offline mode. Candidates have to first appear for the writtten exam, which is followed by the personal interview and portfolio screening and/or a situation test.

The candidate can opt their preffered mode at the time of filling out the application form.

Also, note that the candidate has to appear in all the stages of the design entrance exam.

Candidates have to go to the official website of ITM Institute for Design and Media to apply for the B.Des and M.Des Entrance Exam. Students will have to register first, apply online and pay the application fee in order to complete the application process.

Note that applications submitted via offline mode will not be accepted. Also, ensure that you meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.

The ITM Institute for Design and Media offers a B.Des program. Admission to the programme is on the basis of ITM IDM Entrance Exam.

Eligible candidates needs to apply for admission basis they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Note that if the candidate doesn't meet the prescribed criteria or doesn't get a good score in the entrance exam, he or she may not get admission.

ITM IDM 2024 exam comprise three parts. The duration of the CIT will be 60 minutes, while the Portfolio Review round will be 15-30 minutes, and the Personal Interview Round will also be 15-30 minutes.

The candidate needs to refer to the exam pattern when preparing for the exam. Also, in addition to the exam pattern, also consult the syllabus and prepare the important topics.

The ITM IDM Entrance Exam will be conducted around the 2nd week of April 2024. The exam will be conducted for admission to the B.Des programs offered by the institute.  

The candidate needs to duly fill in the application form to appear in the exam.

On exam day, make sure to report at the exam center as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.

The application form for ISDI Challenge 2026 has to be filled out online. So, don't download the application form, fill it, and send it to the admission office. It is because applications submitted via offline mode will be rejected.

Before fiilling out the form, make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria.

The ISDI Challenge exam is conducted by the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, professional, and short-term design courses offered by the institute.

The entrance exam has the following components - Portfolio/Design Project & DAT and Interview.

It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in all the test components. Or else, the candidate will not be considered for admission.

The application form for ISDI Challenge is now open. So, you can apply for admission. Also, note that the ISDI Challenge 2025 exam is conducted in THREE phases. This means you can apply for admission in any of these phases.

The interview is the 2nd stage of the admission process conducted by the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI). Candidates are shortlisted for the interview based on their performance in the Portfolio/Design Project & DAT.

The candidate must appear in all the stages of the design entrance exam. This means the final result will be prepared by giving weightage to the DAT and interview.
