For admission to UPES School of Design, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams. The school offers admission to BDes on the basis of the minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 10 and Class 12. Candidates must secure valid scores in entrance exams such of NID/ NIFT or candidates national level entrance exams such as UCEED/ JEE Main/ UPES DAT/ CUET or others. After qualifying throught the merit eligibility, candidates will be shortlisted for portfolio presentation and interview. After qualifying all the selection rounds, candidates must pay the fees to confirm the seat.

Whether you wish to pursue an interior design in India or abroad is totally up to your preferences and budget. International universities often offer better learning as well as job opportunities in such niche fields. Also, in today's extremely competitive job market, having a degree in Interior Design from a top/reputated college abroad will elevate your portfolio a lot and will help you stand out among the other candidates. However, it can burn a hole in your pocket. To balance it out, it is often advised that you should pursue a bachelor's degree in India and then go for higher studies abroad.
