A Professional Diploma in Fashion Design course duration is generally 1 year. However, it can vary depending on the college and its course curriculum. For instance, AAFT, JD Institute, MFT (Modern Fashion Technology), etc., offer a Professional Diploma in Fashion Design program for 1 year, Global Institute of Textile Designing has a 1.5 year duration for the same course.

Candidates applying for the NIFT Hyderabad BFTech course must visit the official website of NIFT to register for the entrance test. NIFT Hyderabad BFTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance exam comprising a General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates on the basis of GAT test scores are then required to appear for the counselling process by NIFT for BFTech admission.

The selection criteria for Diploma in Interior Design programs is entirely merit-based. Candidates are not required to prepare for any Design entrance exam for Diploma in Interior Design admissions.

Diploma in Interior Design programs are short-term programs intended by Design colleges to provide basic knowledge about the Interior Design realm without opting for a regular degree course.
