The time that is required to prepare for the UI/UX Design entrance exams cannot be said with any certainty because it differs based on the specific exam that you're preparing for. But in general, you need at least 4 to 6 months to cover the entire exam syllabus, have a look at previous year question papers, practice mock tests, and revise the tough and important topics in the last month.

You need to first begin by checking the eligibility criteria for UI UX Design courses as set by multiple colleges. Then you have t take the relevant entrance exams and get excellent marks and a high rank in order to get a seat at top design colleges.
Another very important step is to fill out the college application forms before the last date. After the exam results are out and you have got your marks, you then have to appear for studio tests or submit a strong portfolio to show your skills.

You can pursue UI UX Design courses at the UG level after passing Class 12 in any background that can be Science, Arts, or Commerce, and having at least 50% marks in the board exams.
You can either opt for a full-fledged 3 to 4-year degree course or opt for a Diploma and specialised certifications in UI and UX Design, based on your interests and plans.
