A total of four BDes courses are offered at Sunstone: Sharda University. Students can check the list of BDes course specialisations below:

To get into Sunstone: Sharda University for a BDes course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. Students must pass Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Bachelor of Design,  an undergraduate degree programme offered for specializations such as Fashion Design, Interior Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, and much more. 

The course curriculum is divided into four parts. A list of subjects are covered in each year of the course. The topics covered in the first year of Pearl Delhi BDes in Communication Design and Technology course (UX and UI) programme are:

• Immersion Lab
• Culture, History & Narratives
• Identity, Memory & Imaginations 7
• Design Abilities 8. Immersion Lab-II

The students study topics related to the world of design and product building in the Pearl Delhi BDes in Product Design course of four years. All the students have to go through a professional practice and final project session before the final portfolio presentation. Some of the topics/subject included in the course curriculum are:

• Material Culture
• Media Culture
• Fashion Image Design Culture
• 3D Tools
• Design Research
• Envisioning Design Directions, etc. 

Inframe College of Art, Design, and Business provides a full-time four-year undergraduate degree in BDes. The course is offered across several specialisations. Admission to the programme is subject to fulfilment of the specified eligibility criteria. Find below the list of BDes specialisations offered at the college:

• Graphic Design/ Visual Communication
• UI/ UX Design
• Animation & VFX

A UI/UX designer needs to be good in the following, it does't matter if they are a beginner or expert. 

• Be creative and must know how to sketch. 
• Know at least one graphic design software in and out.
• Be able to communicate with developers and other team members with clarity.
• Be aware of the latest design trends and common industry techniques.

Through user stories and storyboards, a UI/UX designer can

1. Understand what the user needs and what their motivations are.
2. Communicate ideas more effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Coding can be a great skill for all designers. It is not a strict or mandatory requirement.  

Many UI UX roles also involve creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. In these, programming knowledge is not exactly required. 

But having knowledge of coding can be very much useful when working with the developers.
