The highest and average package offered during the recent SAP Sharda University placements stood at INR 9.60 LPA and INR 4.80 LPA, respectively. UCEED Round 1 Seat Allotment result 2024 has been released for top IITs including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee as well as for IIITDM Jabalpur. IIITDM Jabalpur offers BDes admissions through UCEED scores. Candidates with a valid IIITDM Jabalpur cutoff are called for the round-wise UCEED Counselling. UCEED Round 1 Seat Allotment is out for IIT Guwahati BDes cutoff. UCEED cutoff is released in the form of opening and closing ranks by IIT Bombay, which is the conducting body of UCEED 2024. Candidates with a valid scores in UCEED are allowed to participate in the further round-wise counselling. For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the IIT Bombay UCEED cutoff 2025 was 14 in the last round. The cutoff rank varies for different rounds and categories. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the category-wise UCEED cutoff 2025 for the last round. 

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) released the first merit list in the last week of April 2026. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website: sid.edu.in.

To download the merit list, the candidate will have to log in to the result portal using their B.Des ID and password.

The merit list will include the merit rank of the candidate and the seat allotment status. Candidates who are included in the merit list will have to get registered for the programme.

Skills that are tested in DAT include Design ability, Observation skills, Illustration skills, Problem-solving skills, Imaginative skills, Space Visualization. To get a good score on DAT, candidate must work on each of these skills. Some of skills are natural and some of them are acquired.

In a Design Aptitude Test, candidates are asked drawing, sketching and general reasoning questions. Candidate needs to prepare for each question type to get a good score in DAT.

Some of the top design entrance exams that candidates can take include NIFT, NID DAT, UCEED, and SEED.

Candidate needs to have passed the Bachelor's degree exam (12+4) to be eligible for VUNET M.Des admission. Before applying for admission, make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria. Officials will verify the eligiblity of the candidate at the time of counseling, and if there is any anomaly, the candidate may be disqualfied.

A candidate must have passed 10+2 exam, securing a minimum of 45% marks. Reserved category candidates need 40% marks. The candidates must apply for admission only after checking their eligibility for the B.Des programme. It is because if a candidate is found to be ineligible at any stage of the admission process, his or her candidature will be canceled.

The VUNET entrance exam for design will have three consecutive parts.

1. Aptitude Design Test
2. Studio Test
3. Portfolio Presentation/ Personal Interview

The test will be conducted in online mode. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in all the parts.
