Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati B.Des admission is based on candidates' performance in the UCEED exam, followed by a councelling process. IIT Guwahati B.Des cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 3 Seat Allotment Result. As per the IIT Guwahati cutoff 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 11 and 14, respectively for the ST category students. So, candidates seeking admisison to this institute must secure a rank between 10 and 15 to get a seat for B.Des.

MIT Institute of Design (MITID) conducts its entrance exam known as Design Aptitude Test (DAT) based on which candidates are evaluated and shortlisted for the Studio test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Those who qualify for the PI round will be required to report to the admission cell at MITID for document verification and fee payment for final seat locking. Below are the eligibility & selection criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme at MIT Institute of Design:
- The candidate must have passed class 12 in any stream.
- Candidates must appear for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by MIT Institute of Design based on which they will be selected for further admission rounds.
- Candidates based on their performance in the DAT exam will be shortlisted for the Studio Test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

Yes, MIT Institute of Design (MITID) offers UG, PG, and PG Diploma courses in the field of design. At the UG level, the institute offers a three-year full-time Bachelor of Design (BDes) which is the flagship course of MITID. The BDes programme is offered across twelve specialisations. Also, the institute offers a Masters of Design (MDes) programme. MDes programme being a PG level programme is offered across fourteen specialisations.

The admission process at MIT Institute of Design is divided into three phases:
- MIT Institute of Design Application Process: For admission to any of the courses offered at MIT Institute of Design, candidates need to fill out the application form by providing all the necessary details, i.e. personal and academic details along with necessary documents by paying an application fee of INR 3,000 and INR 4,500 for NRI, OCI and foreign nationals.
