There are a total of 40 seats available at the IIFT Bangalore for MFM. The seats are limited. Hence, students must apply for the course as soon as possible. Seats are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The National Institute of Technology (NIFT) releases answer keys only for the computer-based GAT test. No answer key are released for the offline-based CAT paper.
Also, the keys are released separately for the B. Des, M.Des B.FTech M.FTech and MFM courses. The key will contain the official answers to the questions asked in the entrance exam.

No, the admission to the IFT Bangalore MFM is neither entrance-based nor merit-based. The admission to the course is provided based on first come, first served. The selection is done based on an SOP written by the students.

Yes, you can transfer later into fashion design, as both disciplines involve the same underlying concepts such as spatial understandings, color theory, proportion, coordination of materials. But it is a different set of skills that materialise the design. Interior design is about designing an architectural space, whereas fashion design is about designing clothing.
